VANRATH is delighted to be recruiting for a Finance Assistant on behalf of a leading manufacturing firm based in Newtownabbey. This is a fantastic opportunity for a detail-oriented and motivated individual to join a dynamic finance team within a thriving industry.
About you
If you are an experienced Finance Assistant and are available to join a fast paced organisation to assist during a busy period the following would be suitable qualities:
- Proven experience as a Finance Assistant professional or similar role.
- Experience with accounting software.
- Proficient in MS Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
What you’ll do
As a Finance Assistant you will:
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements.
- Process invoices, payments, and manage accounts payable/receivable.
- Perform bank reconciliations and manage cash flow.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with internal policies.
- Support in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
- Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure financial accuracy and efficiency.
- Resolve supplier queries and discrepancies in a timely manner.
