Key Responsibilities in the Finance Assistant job:
Handling the processing of purchase invoices, ensuring adherence to internal controls and necessary approvals
Maintaining accurate financial records, including ledgers, journals, receipts, and invoices.
Processing employee expenses with precision and attention to detail.
Handle and resolve supplier queries, maintaining positive relationships
Providing additional support in purchase ledger and cash management activities as required
To be successful in the Finance Assistant role, you will need:
Proven experience as a purchase ledger Finance Assistant or accounts assistant experience
Be a self-starter, demonstrating a solution-oriented approach and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
Possess a solid understanding of purchasing processes and controls.
Experience with SAP, SAGE, and MS Office is essential
Adaptability to work in a changing environment, showcasing problem-solving skills, good judgment, and a strong work ethic.
This is a new temporary position with a view to become permanent for the right person.
You’ll be working full time, Monday to Friday and starting on a salary IRO £25-£29k PA (depending on skills and experience) based on-site in Deeside.
