Our Irlam based client is seeking to enhance its dynamic finance team by welcoming a dedicated part-time Finance Assistant.
The offered position is permanent and entails 20 hours per week, offering flexibility in scheduling over 4 or 5 days, provided they fall within the window of 8 am to 4:30 pm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reconciliation and input of card payment receipts
- Entering purchase invoices into our system
- Allocating customer receipts to sales invoices
- Matching fuel receipts with corresponding payments
- Reconciliation of aged debtors and creditors
- Providing support in month-end and year-end closing processes
- Identifying and resolving discrepancies
- Undertaking other ad hoc duties as required
- Offering general administrative support to the finance department
The Ideal Candidate:
- Possesses a minimum of 12 month's experience in a similar environment.
- Demonstrates the ability to process data swiftly and accurately.
- Exhibits initiative in a fast-paced environment.
- Possesses excellent organisational and planning skills.
- Holds a sound knowledge of IT systems, accounting packages, and Excel.
- Displays analytical thinking with keen attention to detail.
- Capable of working under tight deadlines
- Adopts a methodical and professional approach to work.
- Able to thrive under pressure and collaborates effectively in a team.
