Finance Assistant - St Martins Catholic Primary School

Permanent - Part time position - 12 Hours a week - Working pattern to be agreed - Term time only

We are a small Catholic Primary School with just over 120 children, based in Caversham Park Village, Reading. Our children are well-behaved and enthusiastic about learning and their parents are supportive and helpful.
We have a very active Parent Staff Association which regularly organises community and fundraising events to support the school.

We are looking for a part time Finance Assistant to provide financial administrative support to the School Business Manager and the school office to facilitate the efficient and effective use of the schools budget.

Duties to include (but are not limited to):

- Placing of orders for goods and services
- Managing payment of Invoices
- Monthly reconciling of bank statements and submission of returns to the Local Authority
- Actioning Parent Pay payments and associated tasks
- Liaising with contractors for scheduling of visits and arranging for quotes for premises maintenance and work
- Maintaining accurate records and operating within agreed financial procedures and policies
