Finance Assistant

Position: Finance Assistant Hourly Rate: £11.43 to £12.47 per hour Location: Hove Hours: Monday-Friday 37.5 hours a week We are looking for an Finance Assistant to join a company based in Hove. This is a temporary position for the successful candidate and the working hours will be Monday-Friday for at least 3 months. Duties Include: Responsibility for maintaining two accounts email inboxes Processing purchase orders Assisting with Purchase ledger tasks (Matching, checking, coding and entering invoices to accounting software) Regular purchase ledger query investigation and supplier account reconciliation Assist with processing staff expense claims, credit card returns and related queries Ad hoc finance admin and accounts duties to support busy Finance team Downloading financial reports from various supplier portals Assisting with implementation and compliance of financial policies within the organisation Processing of staff expenses and credit cards and related query resolution Preparation of approved invoices for submission into bi-monthly BACS run Weekly bank reconciliations for bank accounts as delegated by Finance Manager Working for First Recruitment as a temporary worker is a great opportunity to experience a variety of work places within different industries, whilst offering flexible working hours.
