Finance Associate
15 month contract
Based in central Manchester / Hybrid working
We are looking for a Finance Associate to join our Shared Service Centre based in central Manchester. To excel in this role, you'll need to be agile and a champion of fresh ideas, personable, and have a 'Can do' attitude.
Working with a team of friendly finance professionals, you'll be responsible for various accounting areas in the Record To Report team at Premier Business Services to ensure the integrity of financial statements through robust processes and controls.

The Key Requirements...
- Preparing Monthly Accruals & prepayments journals ensuring that the correct procedures are followed, and full supporting documentation is provided.
- Preparing and posting recharge journals.
- Checking relevant GL accounts to capture any additional costs that need accruing/prepaying.
- Completing Balance Sheet Reconciliations, ensuring reconciliation is fully supported and complies with accounting standards and KNOX requirements.
- All risks/opportunities clearly stated on balance sheet reconciliation & balance sheet review pack.
As a Finance Associate, you are a team player with a 'Can do' attitude, excited by your role ensuring financial statement integrity through robust processes in a shared service centre. You're motivated by the goal to double turnover by 2030.
About You….
- At least 2 years’ experience in a Finance role
- High level accuracy and attention to detail
- Advanced Excel skills (use of pivot tables/ lookups/sumif)
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and prioritise workload.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
