What will you be doing?
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be assisting in a full range of financial control, decisions, and will support the UK operations function of the business.
You will be required to analyse and report; manufacturing, capital and logistical financial and non-financial data in order to drive continuous improvement.
You will be heavily involved in ad-hoc projects, to include working on project proposal documents, cost tracking and project status reports.
You'll be responsible for monthly, quarterly and annual reporting and analysis, as well as the annual budget, forecasting, and both quarterly and year-end processes. This will involve analysing actual costs against budgets and also projecting future.

This will also include month end tracking of spend and overheads.
This a fast-paced role, in which you will be responsible for the delivery of key business reports in agreed timescales.
You will manage and take ownership of the capital accounting procedures, and post-completion of Capital Expenditure reports.
About you…
Perhaps you will be qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) are currently studying and nearing final stages, or maybe you consider yourself to be qualified by experience with a background in the manufacturing industry.
You will have experience of working with SAP or a similar ERP system, and have experience in developing and improving systems and processes, with strong analytical skills.
Perhaps you will have project accounting and Capital expenditure accounting experience, and experience with standard costing and stock control.
You are a team player, with strong interpersonal and communication skills and you are driven to produce high-quality information and insight.
You are pro-active and work well under pressure, with the ability to define issues and take risks.

You are ambitious and passionate about wanting to take responsibility and accountability, along with simplifying and improving processes.

You'll have a confident attitude to speak to non-financial and supply chain colleagues, after all your role will also involve being a Business Partner to functions outside of finance.
