This fantastic organisation is seeking a Finance Business Partner to join their team and hit the ground running. This role will be part of the wider Finance team with the chance to learn and develop within a successful and thriving team. Working closely with the Senior Finance Manager, the chance for development and growth are endless for those consistent and high performing employees.
The main duties for this Finance Business Partner are:
- Ensuring the monthly management accounts are produced alongside monthly forecasting, budgeting, accruals, prepayments and any journal adjustments.
- Attending monthly meetings with services and key stakeholders where monthly accounts and any variances will be discussed and delved into.
- Having the ability to hit the ground running and add value to the team immediately.
- Supporting the completion of adhoc reports and board packs and presenting findings to Senior Management.
The role will be based in Portsmouth with office attendance required twice a week for key team meetings and stakeholder engagement. A successful Finance Business Partner candidate will be:
- A Qualified accountant holding CIMA/CIPFA/ACCA/ACA. Please do not apply if you are not qualified and passed all of your exams.
- Experienced in financial budgeting, monitoring, dealing with stakeholders and senior management, accruals and prepayments and assisting with month end and year end.
- Able to act well under pressure with great communication skills having the ability to engage with various stakeholders at varying levels of seniority.
- Comfortable with Excel – having the ability to produce pivot tables and Vlookups and discuss findings to key stakeholders and the senior management team.
