Our client is a rapidly growing, highly successful large organisation with sites across the country. This is a newly created role, due to increased workload, joining a Finance Business Partnering team of four.
This role would suit a proven management accountant, looking for development and progression into a FBP role, someone who thrives on a challenge and being kept busy and engaged.
The role:
- Assist with the production of monthly management accounts.
- Post and reconcile journals, accruals and prepayments.
- Present monthly results to Divisional Management alongside the regional Operations Director and Commercial Manager.
- Produce balance sheet account reconciliations.
- Ensure the relevance and accuracy of all reports issued to the Senior Management Team.
- Undertake reviews and analysis of Regional Overhead costs.
- Review cashflow forecasts
- Project involvement - partner from finance perspective
- Develop reports and processes to ensure they are fit for purpose.
- Prepare annual budgets and forecasts.
- Work with the Divisional Finance Team to support and facilitate cross divisional requirements.
- Provide ad hoc reporting requirements to the region and division.
The Successful Applicant
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role
- Be CIMA/ACCA qualified/Part Qualified or QBE.
- Have excellent communication skills and business relationship development.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Attention to detail.
- The ability to clearly communicate in writing.
- Be willing to travel. Travel will be required 1x day per week to Northwest site.
- Driven by commercial finance and understanding the wider business.
