Stanton House is currently recruiting for a Finance Business Partner (Management Accounting) to join an International Tech Business in Southeast England on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract (possibility to go permanent for the right candidate). The role offers £60,000 - £65,000 per annum depending on experience and a hybrid working arrangement (2 days in the office).
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business units, operating companies, and the Company corporate to meet customer and corporate needs through effective Business Partnering services.
- Drive budget and forecast processes, ensuring comprehensive analysis and distribution of information for informed decision-making on costs, budget performance, operating profit, and working capital.
- Reconcile monthly sales and orders, analyse margins, and ensure an accurate reflection of accounting and financial positions.
- Thoroughly understand and analyse monthly expenses.
- Deliver timely and accurate management reporting critical for business decision-making as needed.
- Assist the head office team in comprehending variances to the plan.
- Identify opportunities to enhance support provided by the Business Partner team and ensure effective delivery.
- Cultivate strong relationships with business stakeholders.
- Support the implementation of new ERP systems.
- Assist in preparing new reporting for business units, encompassing both actual and budget reporting.
- Undertake ad-hoc projects, as necessary.
To be suitable for this role you must have the following:
- Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Resilient and adaptable individual with the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships.
- Capable of influencing decision-making among senior stakeholders and providing appropriate challenges.
- Experienced in operating in a matrix structure and collaborating effectively with international teams.
- Skilled in working within a team and as a self-starter for individual projects.
- Demonstrates excellent business judgment, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Proficient in using Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
