A premium, consumer goods brand based in West London is currently seeking a FP&A Analyst/ Finance Business Partner join the team. The role is newly created dye to growth and is a hybrid between FP&A and Business Partnering with the marketing division of the business.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Business partner with the Marketing team in their long-term planning.
- Production of Brand P&L, monthly reporting of financial data and providing commentary.
- Support the marketing division with go to market processes and strategy.
- Reviews of business performance take place with relevant stakeholders
- Review and provide insights to drive better business performance on our Marketing and Consumer Promotion activities.
- Create investment requests for non-budgeted Marketing spend
- Partner and challenge stakeholders to ensure the best assumptions for longer term planning.
- Update the planning tool in order to run processes effectively
- Support FP&A team to create the channel and total company P&Ls
- Support in planning, co-ordinating and providing insight for key business processes including and coordinating monthly latest forecasts
- Provide long term strategic plan support
- Calculation of the COGS for NPD as well as displays
- Regular tracking of business KPI's, reporting back to the business and forecasting future P&Ls.
- Working with the Marketing team to build strong financials for the long term Marketing Plan process and challenging and tracking all Marketing spend to ensure the business spends its money effectively.
- Additional ad-hoc reporting and projects, to support the wider team and business.
This role would be best suited to candidates who are ACA qualified and looking to make their first move into industry from audit, or alternatively those who have relevant FP&A experience working in industry (ACCA/CIMA). Candidates must have the ability to apply significant professional judgment and supports strategic decision making. This is a broad role and is required to translate the strategic plan into deliverable and budgeted plans. Strong attention to detail is essential, with strong communication and networking skills.
