As Finance Business Partner – Production, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring accurate reporting, efficient management, and transparency of Roastery costs. A bit about the role...
Day to day, you’ll be a vital part of the Supply Chain Finance team reporting to the Senior Finance Manager Production and primarily your focus will be on financial planning, analysis, reporting integrity, business insights, cost optimization, standard cost setting, actual cost analysis, and strategic alignment with the company, as well as providing supporting Basildon as and when needed.
- Lead annual business planning, set realistic targets, and ensure alignment.
- Deliver accurate forecasts for financial performance trends; provide ad hoc financial support.
- Identify risks and opportunities, collaborate with Production Leadership teams for action plans.
- Actively manage day-to-day finance activities and formal financial governance of Production project spend.
- Ensure accurate business cases aligned with strategic plans and company policies.
- Continuously review detailed trackers for improved financial controls and forecast accuracy; systematically understand and report on spend progression against budget targets.
- Facilitate regular meetings with Functional heads to discuss key issues and expense progression; identify cost reduction opportunities and provide support for target achievement.

- All round financial management capability, incorporating forecasting techniques, reporting and control
- Commercial insight skills and understanding of operational business drivers – See the end to end
- Influencing skills, esp. in dealing with non-finance personnel
- All round commercial finance expertise – CIMA/ACCA qualified
- Excellent knowledge of Excel, data modelling and scenario planning
- Excellent understanding of data cubes environments
