Compass Corporate services are proud to be working with a leading national health care organisation to recruit a Finance Business Partner based in the Northern Region where you will be providing Finance Business Partnering and leadership across a number of group services within the defined region with the overriding aim of helping senior management to improve the commercial and financial performance of each service and region. It is a very exciting time to join this well established, market leading organisation who operate 14 hospitals In the Northern Region and have just under 1000 patients and as the leading independent provider of mental healthcare and adult social care in the UK you'll be joining a secure, stable employer that you can trust with your future.
The Role
The successful candidate will report directly to the Managing Director of the Northern Region and will be a key hire of supporting the Senior Leadership Team. The post holder will have financial responsibility for a portfolio of services within the region, identifying opportunities to improve business performance, adding financial and commercial knowledge to discussions and supporting the delivery of key financial targets for each service. You will Business Partner to key stakeholders including Managing Director of a region, Hospital Directors/ Service managers and hospital SMT, providing guidance, support and expertise as required.
Requirements
Fully qualified Accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA)
Extensive Commercial and Business Partnering skills
Healthcare or social care experience would be beneficial but not essential
Experience of managing workload with resilience and be commercially minded
Demonstrated ability to quickly appraise complex situations and to identify key issues
Strong relationship building skills and the ability and experience to work alongside Hospital Directors with credibility and influence for the better and drive financial performance
Location
You will be working remotely/hybrid with the occasion of travelling to different sites around the northern region when required.
