About the role
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and motivated finance professional with experience to deliver a Finance Business Partnering model to make a difference to the residents of Crawley. You will be involved in the provision of an accountancy and financial advice service to all levels of management on a range of finance functions, including budget setting, budget monitoring, budget planning and project support.
This is an exciting opportunity where you will be responsible for advising and influencing services to make informed financial decisions, which will have a direct impact on service delivery.

You will also help ensure that Finance acts as a valued partner at the heart of decision making across the council by:
- having a strong finance (accounting) background
- being able to work under pressure and be able to deliver results in a fast paced, ever-changing environment
- having experience of working in an accounting or finance environment (ideally public sector but candidates with similar experience will be considered)
