Join a reputable and dynamic business in Diss as a Finance Business Partner on a full-time, permanent basis. This newly created role involves working closely with all departments to enhance financial results through timely information, supporting initiatives, and building strong relationships across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement standard costing for enhanced operational transparency.
• Analyse group performance against budgets and plans, driving actions for financial improvement.
• Collaborate on projects and ad hoc assignments.
• Conduct monthly stock reconciliations and manage stock provisions.
• Coordinate annual physical stock takes.
• Assist with R&D tax computations.
• Contribute to budgeting and planning processes.
• Present financial reports to senior management.
• Liaise with external auditors as required.
• Perform additional duties as needed.
The ideal candidate will have solid expertise in standard costing, variance analysis, and strong analytical and mathematical skills. Experience in management accounting, particularly with month-end processes, Excel, and ideally Sage 200, is advantageous. Effective communication skills across all business levels are essential.
