What the Finance Business Partner will be involved in:
- Provide financial insights, support strategic decision-making, and prepare and present reports, budgets, and forecasts to senior management.
- Develop and maintain financial models to forecast performance, evaluate impacts, and monitor performance against budgets, highlighting risks and opportunities.
- Design, analyse, and review financial systems and policies for efficiency and compliance, enforcing governance and controls.
- Support the Financial Controller in maintaining and improving internal financial controls.
- Prepare full management accounts, including profit and loss, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Investigate financial documents to resolve reporting inconsistencies, review posting entries, and identify system updates, escalating issues for training and updates.
- Post and review manual journals, aim for system automation, and maintain a reconciliation log.
- Oversee inventory valuation, reconcile journal entries, and manage accruals, resolving data issues before system fixes.
- Lead the onboarding of new entities, ensuring reliable order management, invoicing processes, and creating reporting controls to identify and fix user errors.
- Fully qualified in either ACA / ACCA / CIMA
- Proven experience working at this level
- Confident with presenting to board level
- Dynamics 365 Business Central experience is essential
- Confident with interrogating data sets
- Able to hit the ground
- A wiz on Microsoft Excel
