Finance Controller

Reporting directly to the MD and FD, the role involves:

· Lead the production of group consolidation, serving as the primary point of contact for the accounts assistant, ensuring seamless coordination and alignment.

· Take ownership of crafting the monthly group management pack, providing timely and insightful reports to senior stakeholders, thus influencing strategic decisions.

· Drive the enhancement of internal controls, conducting rigorous reviews to optimise processes and mitigate risks effectively.

· Collaborate with internal and external auditors to identify areas for improvement, implementing robust solutions to elevate financial practices.

· Evaluate and streamline existing accounting processes, championing efficiency and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

· Oversee year-end and statutory accounting processes, ensuring compliance and efficiency throughout the audit process.

· Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures documentation to uphold standards of excellence.

· Manage and mentor the team responsible for accounts payable, accounts receivable, and credit control functions, fostering a culture of high performance and collaboration.

· Play a pivotal role in business planning, forecasting, and monthly reporting, providing valuable insights to support strategic decision-making.

· Lead specific finance projects, acting as a key liaison between finance and other business units, driving cross-functional collaboration and alignment.
