We are seeking a high calibre Finance Director to oversee and drive the financial strategy of a rapidly-growing firm in the leisure & hospitality industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with a passion for improving business processes and driving growth.

Description
Working closely with the business owners, the Finance Director will form part of the company's leadership team and help drive further growth in a multi-site environment. The successful candidate will be tasked with helping the business formulate a commercial strategy for expansion, and also be an integral part of any exit/additional funding strategy over the next 2-3 years. Responsibilities will include:
- Develop and execute the company's financial strategy.
- Lead and manage the accounting and finance department.
- Oversee financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, and auditing.
- Communicate financial performance and forecasts to the Board.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Identify opportunities for financial growth and efficiency.
- Help further develop future financial planning by assessing performance and risks, in partnership with the board.
- Manage relationships with external partners and investors.
Profile
We are looking for an experienced finance professional, with an understanding of working at a senior level in a customer-focused, leisure and/or hospitality environment. In addition to broad experience of financial control/reporting, budgeting & forecasting, we are looking for the following attributes:
- A professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent.
- Proven experience in a senior financial managerial position.
- Hands-on experience of enhancing commercial finance reporting and accounting principles, ideally in a growing SME business environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, in particular the ability to work with & influence the senior leadership team.
- Experience of Leisure/Hospitality, or a related multi-site environment would be highly beneficial.
