Finance Director

As the Finance Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing financial strategies to support our business objectives. This is a leadership position that requires a combination of strategic thinking, hands-on financial management, and a strong understanding of both commercial finance and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

As Finance Director you will be responsible for the following:

• Financial Strategy: Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.
• Commercial Finance: Lead the commercial finance function, providing insights and analysis to drive business performance, pricing strategies, and investment decisions.
• Financial Reporting: Oversee the financial reporting process, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery of financial statements.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
• Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a high-performing finance team, fostering a collaborative and results-driven culture.
• Risk Management: Implement effective risk management practices, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and industry standards.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate financial insights to non-financial stakeholders.

Key Requirements

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with significant post-qualification experience.
• Proven experience in a leadership role with responsibilities in both commercial finance and financial reporting.
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Bachelors degree in accountancy, economics or business.
