In addition to our bespoke offerings, we've developed Junction—a groundbreaking multimodal travel platform that simplifies travel, enhances control, and expands choices for both travelers and suppliers.
Driven by innovation and growth, Snowfall maintains a vibrant company culture that resonates with our diverse team across the globe. With a commitment to excellence, we've assembled a world-class team. To further our success, we're seeking a talented Finance Director to join us.
About the role:
This role presents an exciting leadership opportunity for a seasoned and ambitious professional. As Finance Director, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing financial operations globally, supported by a dedicated team. Working closely with our Senior Leadership team, you will develop and execute financial strategies that help position Snowfall as a leader in the travel-tech industry. You'll also play a key role in ensuring Snowfall is financially sound, compliant, and positioned for growth.

Balancing strategic vision with hands-on execution, you will leverage your expertise to drive significant impact in this dynamic role. Your responsibilities will include financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with external stakeholders and contribute to the overall strategic direction of the company.

This position offers the opportunity to make a tangible impact in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. If you're a proactive leader with a passion for finance and a desire to contribute to the future of travel tech, we'd love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with department heads to ensure accurate and realistic financial projections.

Cash Flow Management:

  • Manage overall cash flow, optimising working capital and liquidity.

  • Implement strategies to enhance cash management efficiency and reduce financial risks.

Internal Controls and Compliance:

  • Establish and maintain robust internal controls to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.

  • Monitor adherence to accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and ethical practices.

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Lead, mentor, and inspire the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence.

  • Provide ongoing training, professional development, and succession planning.

Financial Systems and Technology:

  • Oversee financial systems, ensuring optimal functionality and recommending improvements.

  • Stay informed about advancements in financial technology for potential implementation.

  • Stakeholder Communication:

  • Communicate financial performance and strategies to senior management, the board, and external stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with other departments to align financial goals with overall business objectives.

Mergers and Acquisitions:

  • Lead financial due diligence for potential mergers and acquisitions.

  • Oversee financial integration processes post-acquisition.

Audit Coordination:

  • Coordinate and manage internal and external audits, ensuring compliance.

  • Address audit findings and implement corrective actions.

Risk Management:

  • Identify and assess financial risks, developing and implementing risk mitigation strategies.

  • Provide recommendations for insurance coverage and risk management protocols.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • CPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification.

  • Extensive experience in financial leadership roles, ideally within a multinational environment.

  • In-depth knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and strategic financial management.

  • Visionary leader with strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

  • Proactive and adaptable in a dynamic work environment.
