Financial Management: - Develop and execute financial strategies to optimize profitability, enhance financial performance, and ensure fiscal stability. - Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes to align with organizational goals and objectives. - Monitor financial performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs), providing insights and recommendations to executive leadership. Financial Reporting and Analysis: - Ensure timely and accurate reporting of PnL to the Board and Senior Management team as well as monitoring and creating budgets. - Prepare and present accurate, timely financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, to inform decision-making at all levels of the organization. - Conduct in-depth financial analysis, variance analysis, and scenario modelling to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, supporting data-driven business decisions. - Assist in all company-wide budget planning, managing KPIs and ensuring the business is achieving the best possible financial performance with continual review of performance vs targets. Internal Controls and Compliance: - Establish and enforce robust internal control procedures to safeguard assets, mitigate financial risks, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards. - Maintain tight controls and cash optimisation across all areas. Designing optimised payment strategies across suppliers. - Oversee internal and external audits, coordinating audit activities and implementing audit recommendations to improve financial processes and controls. - Manage company policies regarding capital requirements, debt, taxation, equity, acquisitions or disposal as appropriate. - Ensure that the company financial systems are robust, compliant and support current activities and can support future business growth. Strategic Planning and Business Development: - Collaborate with executive leadership to develop long-term financial strategies, business plans, and growth initiatives that drive sustainable business expansion and enhance competitive advantage. - Evaluate investment opportunities, capital expenditures, and strategic partnerships, conducting comprehensive financial analysis and risk assessments to support strategic decision-making. Team Leadership and Development: - Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement. - Provide guidance, coaching, and professional development opportunities to finance staff, empowering them to achieve individual and collective goals.
