Interim Financial Governance Lead - Museum - 6 month contract - £400 to £450 per day

A highly recognisable and renowned Museum are searching for an Interim Financial Governance Lead to join their finance team on a 6 month contract.

Description

Key responsibilities will include:

• Review financial controls to identify any weaknesses and suggest improvements.
• Work with procurement and legal to improve contract procurement and management processes.
• Work with the Corporate Risk Group to improve risk management across the group. ·
• Work with finance business partners to develop and deliver budget holder training and assistive tools to remove compliance barriers

Profile

A successful Finance Governance Lead should:

• Be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified
• Have strong technical knowledge of core financial controls.
• Ability to automate finance tasks
• Engage effectively with stakeholders
• Identify future developments in accounting/reporting
• Be familiar with SORP and FRS 102 (Ideal)
