About Our Client
A highly recognisable and renowned Museum are searching for an Interim Financial Governance Lead to join their finance team on a 6 month contract.
Job Description
Key responsibilities will include:
- Review financial controls to identify any weaknesses and suggest improvements.
- Work with procurement and legal to improve contract procurement and management processes.
- Work with the Corporate Risk Group to improve risk management across the group. ·
- Work with finance business partners to develop and deliver budget holder training and assistive tools to remove compliance barriers
The Successful Applicant
A successful Finance Governance Lead should:
- Be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified
- Have strong technical knowledge of core financial controls.
- Ability to automate finance tasks
- Engage effectively with stakeholders
- Identify future developments in accounting/reporting
- Be familiar with SORP and FRS 102 (Ideal)
