Your new role
Working within a commercial finance team, you take on a variety of duties in this entry-level finance position. You will have the opportunity to spend time in different areas within the accounts team with your main duties beginning with accounts payable, processing invoices and reconciling statements to understanding and processing TAX and VAT returns, and processing reports.
What you'll need to succeed
This is an excellent opportunity to start your accountancy career under the guidance of an experienced finance team and would suit someone who recently graduated. Therefore, any office-based experience will be welcomed (as this is an entry level position) along with knowledge of basic accountancy principles. Most importantly, you will have already chosen accountancy as your career choice and have the desire to work your way up, initially supporting the team with any tasks. A committed and enthusiastic manner is required, along with a team-orientated approach and a can-do attitude.
