Overall purpose of the job
To work as part of the Finance & Operations team to support the delivery of the Charity's work through diligent and accurate financial administration. The role is vital in running day-to-day financial processes and supporting the effective financial management of the organisation.

The Finance Lead works as part of the Finance & Operations team to support the delivery of the Charity's work through diligent and accurate financial administration. The role is vital in running day-to-day financial processes and supporting the effective financial management of the organisation.
This role is Maternity Cover and the job will commence with a period of handover, induction and training.

Job Responsibilities
Expenditure
- Processing invoices via Sage Accounts for payment on the bank within the supplier terms
- Managing creditors ensuring no outstanding debts quarterly
- Managing monthly bank reconciliations
- Generating financial reports for monthly, quarterly and annual accounts reconciliation
- Processing and reconciling employee expenses
- Updating the Expenditure folder on SharePoint
- Creating and sending sales invoices
Audit
- Undertaking routine Audit testing
- Collating invoice and finance records as evidence for audit
General
- Work as part of Artswork's staff team to support the Chief Finance Officer, Head of Budgets, Contracts and Policy and key staff in the managing and delivery of all financial procedures
- Oversee the Accounts inbox ensuring financial matters are actioned promptly
- Provide timely responses to invoice, expenses and payment enquiries from colleagues and external customers
- Liaising with colleagues to order and distribute Equipment
