Our client is looking for a committed, organised and dedicated part time Finance Manager. Does this sound like you
The important role will involve:
- Managing the general day-to-day finances of the agency
- Implementing robust financial control procedures, systems and processes, regularly reviewing them for enhancements
- Preparing monthly financial reports
- Responsible for account preparation, sales and purchase ledgers, reconciliations, VAT returns and managing cash flow
- Working closely with the CEO to generate forecasts of predicted growth allowing our client to plan and budget accordingly
- Preparation of year end accounts and liaising with an external accountant
- Posting purchase invoices and matching with PO numbers
- Producing and sending out sales invoices within the agreed timescales
- Chasing clients with late payments and credit control
- Raising and posting month end journals
- Assisting clients with any invoice queries
- Working closely with the wider teams to ensure that all projects are invoiced on schedule and all systems (including HubSpot, Sage and Xero) are regularly updated and accurate
- Working across all departments ensuring effective and efficient lines of communication are delivered to all team members
You’ll need to have:
- An AAT qualification or degree in finance/accounting (equivalent relevant experience may be considered)
- Previous experience within finance, bookkeeping or accounting roles
- Experience with double entry bookkeeping
- Excellent, confident, and accurate communication skills both oral and written
Other important things to have for this role:
- Experience using Xero and Sage. HubSpot would be advantageous but not essential
