We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Management Accountant.
We are looking for someone eager to get their career moving in the accountancy profession and who can take on a wide variety of responsibilities within the team. Study support will be provided.
The role is based at our Support Centre in Speke, Liverpool L24, Monday - Friday and is permanent and full time.
The Key Accountabilities in the role are:
- Manage the accounting entries and month end outturns for a sub-set of Balance sheet and/or P&L accounts
- Posting journals to ensure all costs are captured
- Monthly reconciliations to a high standard
- Maintain full audit trail for entries and reconciliations
- Regular communications with business colleagues driving variances to make continuous improvements
- Production of KPI's/Regular MI
- Perform ad-hoc analysis generating deeper insight into your accounts as needed
- Forecast monthly balances
- Assist year end/half year preparation and audit.

The ideal candidate will have the following experience/skills:
- 2+ years of relevant experience
- Must have excellent analytical and numerical abilities
- Able to meet strict deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good communication and the ability to build lasting business relationships with stakeholders
- Experience of working in a fast-paced, high transaction volume business
- Exposure to senior team members
