Adele Carr Recruitment are proud to support a global agricultural manufacturer with recruiting for an Assistant Management Accountant. The Management Accountant will be responsible for the production of accurate, relevant and timely reporting for Senior Management to support performance management and ensure that controls, processes and flow of financial information is accurate and effective.
What you'll do:
- Responsible for delivering weekly financial data and reporting in line with the needs of the business
- Responsible for maintenance of the rolling forecast with assistance from the local branch
- Preparation of month end accounts including P&L, Balance Sheet reconciliations, VAT returns and inter-company reporting
- Support the commercial and finance team with financial reports, analyses and other requirements as they arise, including data management and preparation of senior leadership team presentations.
- Supporting the purchase ledger team by processing small weekly payment runs
- Ad-hoc reporting and analysis
- Assist with ad-hoc accounting and financial management requirements across the division
- Any other duties as may be required
What you'll need to have:
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet reporting deadlines
- Strong communication skills, analytic skills and organisational skills
- A good team player with the skills to manage, develop and implement new working practices and systems
- Ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders at all levels within the business
- Keen eye for detail and provide accurate information
- Works effectively by tackling immediate demands decisively, whilst retaining a broad awareness of emerging requirements
- Demonstrates a good sense of priorities, structures workload effectively and delivers consistently good results
- Advanced IT skills (Excel (look-ups, sum ifs, pivot tables), Outlook, Word, Access)
Benefits:
- Remuneration: Circa £28-32K Dependent upon candidate experience + up to 5% discretionary bonus
- Core hours: 40 hours Monday-Friday
- Pension: Defined Contribution, after successful probation period, 3% Employer and 5% Employee
- Annual leave: 25 days + bank holidays
- Probation period: 3 months
- Notice period: 3 months
