Description
The key duties for the Payroll Clerk are:
- Managing payroll processing and distribution for all employees- full end to end
- Ensuring compliance with all statutory regulations and company policies
- Resolving payroll discrepancies through data analysis and liaising with internal departments
- Maintaining and updating employee records in the payroll system
- Assisting with audits by providing necessary payroll data and documentation
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of payroll processes and systems
- Responding to employee enquiries regarding payroll issues or concerns
- Preparing payroll reports for management as required
- Ad hoc duties
Profile
A successful Payroll professional should have:
- A strong understanding of payroll systems and procedures
- Experience in a similar role
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- A qualification in accounting or related field
