Transparent is pleased to support this successful business in the recruitment of a Finance Manager to work closely with the Operations team, producing monthly management accounts, budgets and forecasts to support the running of the UK business.
This contract is likely to run for 3-6 months and there is a permanent position at the end of this period for those who would like to be considered.
Working out of their offices in Daventry and with hybrid working opportunities in place, your background should have proven experience in either a Senior Management Accountant or Finance Manager position.
Main duties:
- Oversee the day to day running of the UK finance team, adhering to KPIs
- Prepare, consolidate and distribute accurate monthly management accounts and reports
- Monitor stock rotation and stock ageing
- Prepare financial reporting, KPI tracking, monthly P&L, cash flow and margin analysis
- Reconcile all balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis
- Provide weekly cash flow forecasts and assist in cash flow management
- Complete VAT returns
- Ad hoc duties as required
The Person:
- Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or qualified by experience with a relevant background in manufacturing, distribution or supply chain management
- Proven experience in either a Senior Management Accountant or Finance Manager capacity
- Transfer pricing, custom duties, import procedures knowledge would be an advantage
- Immediately available or available at short notice
