Job Title: Assistant Finance Manager

Salary Equivalent(PAYE Contract): Up to £55k

Contract Length: 12 Months

This client is a pioneering video game developer with a great history in creating iconic titles across various gaming platforms. They’re dedicated to pushing the boundaries of creativity and technology, consistently delivering captivating experiences that resonate with a diverse audience.

The Role

As the Finance Manager, you will collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners, particularly with different vendors and finance teams, to streamline financial operations and reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Manage monthly close process, focusing on studio inputs and ensuring accuracy and completeness in financial reporting.
• Collaborate with various departments and teams to oversee vendor invoicing, purchase orders, accruals, and financial analysis during monthly, quarterly, and yearly close cycles.
• Resolve procurement issues related to purchase orders, payments, vendor onboarding, and one-time vendor payments in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
• Track and maintain accuracy of invoices for key development partners.
• Generate and maintain reports on current spending with key development partners.
• Manage the monthly accruals process for live purchase orders, ensuring accurate representation and advising on accruals for Finance Managers.
• Review and troubleshoot close files, rectifying errors to maintain clean and accurate financial positions.
• Produce reports on budget/forecast variances, backed by comprehensive analysis.
• Develop and operate a comprehensive "support request" system, including vendor onboarding, purchase order management, and resolution of payment issues.
