Finance Manager

An opportunity has arisen for an ambitious and wide-reaching Finance Manager in this successful professional services SME. Managing a small team, you will be responsible for all financial management, reporting and controlling with the company, to include:

• Month end accounts, analysis and close activities
• Financial and other KPIs
• Budgeting and cash flow forecasting
• Supporting the leadership teams
• Reviewing and improving existing systems, processes and working practices
• Monthly payroll processing
• Reporting weekly billing and WIP
• Weekly payment runs
• Quarterly VAT returns
• Client facing at times

The successful candidate will be qualified with strong relevant experience, likely gained within an SME (industry or professional service / practice environment). You will be hands on and able to demonstrate both initiative and a pro-active approach. You will need high attention to detail, and be an open, collaborative communicator.

The role is based in their offices 5 days per week.
