My client, an ambitious, rapidly growing, Pharmaceutical business based in Newcastle is looking for a Finance Manager to join their team. Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, this is a newly created position as a result of a business restructure.
You will review statutory reporting, supporting the teams on financial reporting and IFRS and advise on complex accounting areas and transactions. Preparing the Group Management Accounts, you will support the finance team, maintain the asset registers, assist with the preparation of the annual report and interface with external auditors for periodic financial reviews. An integral role, you will maintain and update existing company policies, keep up to date on the latest accounting guidance, make operational and system improvements and work on other ad hoc projects in this changing environment.
You must be a Qualified Accountant (ACCA/ACA) with recent exposure to PLC reporting requirements. The successful candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of IFRS and the ability to interpret and apply technical accounting literature.
