DK Recruitment are looking to recruit an experienced Finance Manager, reporting to the Senior Management Team, for their client based in Plymouth. The ideal candidate will enjoy and have previous experience in managing a team and building relationships across the business.

Responsibilities Include

• Provide monthly management accounts with a concise analytical summary including presenting to the General Manager and Directors.
• Lead the annual budgeting process and subsequent quarterly forecasting process for the business.
• Partner with the business to appraise forecast outputs, challenge assumptions, identifying and explaining key risks, opportunities, and variances.
• Monitor and advise the General Manager and Directors on the financial position of the business.
• Maintain sound security protocols, including appropriate separation of duties, internal auditing, spot checks and accountability definitions, to ensure that key risks of loss, error and fraud are well controlled.
• Ensure that capacity to pay on-going liabilities is monitored so current cash availability never becomes an obstacle to future trading.

Candidate Requirements

• At least two years of Finance Management experience
• Previous experience managing a team.
• Minimum of part qualified/qualified by experience.
• Happy to work in the office full time.
