About the Role: Wills Consultants are working with a recognised brand in their search for a talented Part-Time Finance Manager. This role would be ideal for someone with a strong financial background and a passion for the not for profit sector.
This role offers a flexible hybrid 20-hour week contract and attracts great benefits such as health support package, pension contribution and the opportunity to contribute as a member of the executive team for this unique charity.
You will be responsible for leading a small finance team of staff and volunteers in the process and preparation of the accounts for the trust, to include:
- Management and co-ordination of financial activity
- Responsible for relevant statutory compliance (e.g. Charity VAT, Tax and Gift Aid)
- Production of annual budgets, forecasts and monthly management information pack
- Working closely with the Chief Executive and reporting to the board of Trustees
- Prepare annual statutory accounts and work with the auditors within required timescales
Requirements:
- AAT/ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified, or qualified by experience
- Experience in Management Accounting for an SME
- Knowledge of Charity VAT, Tax and Gift Aid is a must
- Have used Finance/IT software to include Sage, Excel, Word
- Be able to work to deadlines and able to prioritise workload
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
