K.A.G. Recruitment Consultancy are looking to recruit a Payroll Manager to join our client, a leading Food Manufacturer based in Brackley.
Position: Payroll Manager
Location: Brackley
Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 DOE, 33 days holiday, 6% pension, Life Assurance, Various lifestyle benefits.
Hours of work: Monday – Friday 08.30-17.30
The Role:
As the Payroll Manager you will provide excellent, customer focused payroll function in support of the strategic objectives of the shared service department to deliver key performance indicators as per the service level agreement with the participatory sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordination and management of entire payroll function & benefits function
- Manage and supervise direct reports within the Payroll Team
- Assist with administering payrolls (month end consolidation and processing support as required)
- Checking and auditing of all payrolls, ensuring legislative & award compliance (tax compliance, superannuation etc.)
- Reporting - Supporting Internal reporting requirements e.g. Annual leave& Intercompany reports etc.
- Projects as required i.e. continual improvement and standardisation of payroll operations and systems
- Manage and administer employee benefits including system based benefit process e.g. Auto Enrolment
- Calculation and reconciliation payments
- Develop and update payroll reference manual for managers
- Perform system upgrades on the Mitrefinch payroll system
- Ensure prompt maintenance of staff records at all times including archiving and filing
- Workers compensation co-ordination i.e. process, monitor and file all claims and prepare payments.
You will have previous experience from a similar commercial position and be used to managing both weekly and monthly payroll.
