This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing business in the Property industry. Reporting to the FD, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day finance function, supporting stakeholders with financial queries, while contributing to the expansion of the business.
Your new role
As the successful candidate, your duties will be:
- Managing the day-to-day finance function.
- Reporting for budgeting and cash flow forecasting.
- Monthly accruals, prepayments and similar accounting items.
- Weekly and monthly supplier payment reports and bank payments.
- Bank and supplier account reconciliations.
- Staff expenses and credit cards.
- Payroll, VAT, CIS and other HMRC processes.
- Drafting year-end accounts and tax returns.
- Managing the statutory audit process, assisting external auditors.
What you\'ll need to succeed
To be the successful candidate, you will need to have / be:
- Qualified, Part-Qualified or Qualified by Experience
- An efficient communicator
- Strong system and Excel skills
- Hands on and happy with the full range of work
What you\'ll get in return
Flexible working options available, a salary of £40,000 - £50,000, a close-knit, friendly working environment and the chance to WFH 1-2 days per week.
