Finance Manager - Ferndown - Up to £37,000 DOE

Are you an experienced and dynamic Finance Manager looking for an exciting new role based in Ferndown?

Our client provides Reactive Maintenance Services to a wide range of users across the UK and due to rapid growth they are looking to appoint a Finance Manager to head up a small team of 3 and ensure the smooth running of the function.

You will support the Managing Director closely with Forecasting, Budget analysis and identifying spend trends as well as the wider team to perform the following:

Sales Ledger

• Generate sales invoices and ensure timely payments
• Address customer queries and discrepancies
• Collaborate with internal departments on sales matters
• Maintain accurate customer data

Purchase Ledger

• Process purchase invoices and manage supplier payments
• Handle internal purchase queries
• Reconcile supplier statements and prepare payment runs
• Process employee expenses and reconcile payments
• Keep supplier data up to date

General Accounts Administration Tasks

• Bank and petty cash reconciliation accounts
• Prepare VAT returns
• Handle telephone calls and emails
• Assist with cross-department queries
• Support payroll by preparing employee wages
• Contribute to monthly management accounts and budget preparation

General office hours are 08am to 4pm Mon to Friday - some flexibility may be offered

This will be based in the office
