My client is currently expanding their Finance Team and are recruiting a Finance Manager to join their site in Northwich.

Salary:£40000-£45000
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 9am - 5.30pm - 40 hours a week
Location: Northwich site, with an opportunity to work from home 1 day a week after a successful induction period. Occasional travel to other sites and our Shared Service Centre will be required.

The role:
The Finance Manager will play a key role in managing and optimising financial processes within the organisation. This role will be responsible for overseeing financial planning and analysis, budget management, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. The successful candidate will contribute to the overall financial health of the company and support strategic decision-making.
Duties:
- Coordinate with the Shared Service Centre for yearend audit & Month End Management Accounts.
- Develop, implement, and maintain financial models for budgeting and forecasting.
- Analyse financial data and provide insights to support business decisions.
- Monitor and report on key financial performance indicators.
- Collaborate with department heads to develop annual budgets.
- Track budget variances and provide recommendations for cost control.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to senior management.
- Oversee the day-to-day finance department functions.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
- Supervise and mentor a small finance team (x3)
Requirements:
- Part-qualified or newly qualified accountant through ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent.
- 5+ year's experience in a similar finance role, previous role in a logistics or transportation industry beneficial.
- Strong knowledge of month end processes, financial planning, budgeting, and analysis.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Excel, previous experience in SAP beneficial.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
