The Client
Harmonic is extremely proud to be working with an international creative production and marketing startup. Based in Central London but with offices in the USA, this company is looking for a hands-on Finance Manager to join its team.
This adtech startup is revolutionising the digital content and creative production market by helping create some of the best solutions for marketing teams wanting to accelerate their content production and distribution. Working on a variety of different industries some very exciting clients such as Red Bull, Land Rover, Under Armour, Lenovo and Special Olympics.
The startup was founded in 2014 by a sustainability driven founder who has committed to focus on sustainable advertising including becoming completely carbon neutral by 2026. This new generation media company is making strides in the industry.
This is a very fun non corporate startup that is looking for someone that is hardworking and loves fast-growth startup environments. This role is three days a week in central London with 2 days flexibility of working from home. The company has free breakfasts every Monday and love going for work drinks on Thursday nights!
The Role:
This is a massive opportunity to work with a tenured CFO making a real immediate impact as the Finance Manager. With access to the C-Suite also, this role is great for someone who is looking to make a step up in their career.
Duties:
· Work closely with the CFO to run the finance function.
· Prepare month end close procedures to report back to the CFO.
· Oversee and liaise with the outsourced accounting team.
· Assist with cash flow reporting and liaise with the production teams.
· Lead annual audit and preparation for supporting files and resolving queries.
· Develop performance plans along with KPI's.
· Exposure to work with the founders directly.
· Work cross functionally with the other parts of the company to track metrics.
· Work with the US team to make sure regulations are being upheld.
Essential Experience (what our client would like to see):
· 3 + years of experience in Finance/Accounting.
· Experience in fast-growth startup environment.
· Team player mentality with a positive can-do attitude and be willing to roll up sleeves.
· Excellent organizational skills.
· Good cross functional communicator.
Non-Essential Experience (What we would like to see):
- Has Media/Production/Advertising/Tech background.
- Had experience working with a US entity.
- US GAAP.
Salary: £70,000 - £80,000
THIS IS A 9-12 MONTH FIXED TERM CONTRACT WHICH WILL BEGIN BETWEEN FEBRUARY 1ST TO 19TH.
