Job Overview
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Finance Manager to join our team in the Jewellery Quarter, Birmingham. As our Finance Manager, you will play a crucial role in the financial management and strategic planning of our company.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial control. Responsible for all finance functions in the business.
- Payroll. Create and process monthly payroll run for 80 people, ensuring accuracy and correct record keeping.
- HR. In charge of HR for the company, with help from an outsourced helpline.
- Budgets. Assist in Preparing financial reports, budgets, cost reports, and financial forecasts.
- Management. Delegate tasks, monitor performance, provide assistance and training to two direct reports.
- Processes. Implementing efficient financial management tools and processes.
- Reporting. Report financial figures to the MD and to the group FC, and assist in year-end audit queries.
- Analysis. Analysing financial figures for opportunities and issues, and explaining in non-finance language to company management.
Qualifications and Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of financial management experience, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
- Proficient in financial software programs and MS Office applications including Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent command of English, both written and verbal.
- Strong analytical, decision-making and management skills.
- Chartered accountancy qualifications (including part qualified) e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA or QBE.
