In this hands-on role, you will:
- Lead a team of two, overseeing daily accounting operations across all entities.
- Manage monthly management accounts and year-end audit processes, ensuring financial excellence.
- Oversee the finance and ERP systems, ensuring optimal functionality.
- Collaborate on exciting projects directly with the visionary owners.
- Prepare consolidated accounts for the holding company.
- Reconcile nominal, bank, PAYE, and VAT accounts (Irish VAT).
- Handle cash projections, analysis, comparisons, and forecasts.
- Prepare detailed month-end packs, reports, forecasts, and ad hoc information for stakeholders.
- Manage supplier payments and purchase ledger.
- Resolve sales invoice issues with clients and coordinate with the sales team on credit control and credit limits.
- Prepare PAYE and VAT returns, and reconciliations, and manage online statutory payments.
- Prepare year-end information for the accountant.
- Proven experience as a Finance Manager or Management Accountant.
- Fully Qualified (ACCA/CIMA) or (QBE).
- Multi-company accounting and Irish VAT experience preferred.
- Proficiency with MS Business Central or similar systems.
- Strong reporting and data analysis skills.
- Banking and debtor management experience.
- Excellent time and task management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
