Finance Manager - Group, Financial Reporting & Analysis

Meraki Talent are supporting with the permanent appointment of a Finance Manager based in Edinburgh with exceptional flexible/hybrid working paying £60,000 - £66,000 + excellent bonus, pension & benefits.

The Role

This position will assume critical responsibility for the group consolidations, Financial Reporting, statutory accounting and the external audit but it’s far more varied than just technical accounting. It will also be involved in several high-profile global projects and be required to business partner with both senior and non-financial stakeholders to add value to operations and strategic planning.
The key components of the role will include:

• Constant interaction and business partnering with senior stakeholders including C-Suite level
• Involvement in several high-profile global projects & continuous improvement initiatives
• Reviewing and developing process, procedures, controls & systems
• Internal functional partnering – FP&A, commercial finance, corporate development, taxation, & systems optimisation
• Feeding into budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning
• Responsibility for:
  • o Statutory accounting and financial statements
  • o Group Reporting & consolidation
  • o External audit preparation including liaising with External Auditors
  • o Balance sheet integrity
