Berry Recruitment are NOW hiring for a committed and experienced Finance Supervisor work for a fantastic organisation in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire.
Role: Finance Supervisor
Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 Per Annum (Negotiable)
Location: Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire
Hours: 08:00 - 17:00
Holiday Entitlement: 23 Days Annual Leave
This vital position involves overseeing AP, AR & CC activities as well as supporting the Financial Manager with the production of the monthly management accounts, Job Costing, and Contract Analyst costing.

About the role:
As Finance Supervisor your duties will be:
- Manage the Team and distribute work accordingly for AP, AR & CC.
- Point of escalation for complex AP, AR & CC queries
- Supporting the production of the monthly management accounts reports when required.
- Weekly Credit card reconciliation
- Upload payment runs to banking system.
- Managing Month end procedures with AP, AR & CC.
- Contract Costing Analysis, Set-Up, and Reviews
- Proving Turnover reports and P&L to Account Managers
- Month End Job Costing Reporting
- Collating payment runs.
- Reviewing expense claims for VAT and coding accuracy
- Weekly Cash-flow reporting
- Supporting with year-end activities including liaising with auditors
- Updating and checking Hourly Rate costs and charges
- Updating and analysing Vehicle Costs, including dealing with personal mileage and PCN deductions for Payroll
- Upload of PL and SL Invoices from CAFM system to Finance system.
- Ad hoc project work
About you:
- AAT or equivalent but not essential
- Experience with month end accounting processes
- Previous experience of mentoring and coaching colleagues
- Financial background Essential
- Be organised and initiative-taking.
- Enjoys Prioritising multiple tasks and duties efficiently.
