An exciting 6 month contract is available with an organisation working closely with the Education sector. This Finance Manager role will work as part of a team who have a values based approach to the work they do. Experienced in finance management and holding relevant qualifications such as ACCA or other accountancy related credentials you will undertake a hands on role as the Finance Manager during a period of process review.
Job duties:
- Monthly Management Accounts
- Year-end Accounts
- Audit preparation
- Payroll
- Line management of two who in turn have direct reports
Skills & experience required:
- Fully AAT qualified or equivalent plus qualified or working towards another CCAB qualification like ACCA, ICAEW, CIPFA or equivalent
- Previous experience in charity / not for profit sectors or public sector / education establishments
- Finance Management experience especially audit preparation, management accounts and year-end accounts
