Management Accountant

We are seeking a Management Accountant with a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of accounting principles. This role is crucial in supporting the financial operations of the business.

Client Details

My client is a well-established and internationally operating organisation, offering study support with this Management Accountant position. You will be reporting to the Group Financial Controller, working in a settled team.

Description

• Preparation of management accounts (income statement & balance sheet)
• Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations.
• Intercompany reconciliations.
• Sales and purchases analysis.
• Analysing various financial data and reporting.
• Review staff expenses.
• Liaising with and preparing audit evidence for statutory audit.
• Preparation of VAT returns for UK and Ireland.
• Completion and submission of monthly and annual ONS surveys.
• Provide cover for other finance team colleagues.
• Provide frontline financial support to the European entity and Group Financial Controller.
• Ad hoc tasks as required.

Profile

A successful Management Accountant should have:

• Previous working experience in Management Accounts
• Part-Qualified Management Accountant
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a team and manage multiple tasks.
