As a result of growth, this successful, award-winning Cheltenham-based SME seeks to recruit a part-time Finance Manager to join their small but capable and friendly finance team.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, your core role will be varied; from supporting the FC in the production and analysis of monthly management accounts & cashflow forecasting to purchase ledger, sales ledger, payroll preparation and bank recs content. And updating financial databases & assisting with account queries too.
Although you will have no direct staff responsibilities, as the no2 in the finance function we'll look for you to support and hopefully develop the other members of the team.
We're looking for someone with a few years' directly relevant experience (you may be qualified or QBE), hands-on, a team player with initiative and an eye for detail. Process improvement skills would be ideal, as would some payroll experience. Strong excel skills are a must.
