Trinity House Group are excited to be exclusively supporting an outstanding Finance Director to recruit a newly created Finance Manager - Projects role. Working within a Plc Manufacturing business this role will offer genuine career progression for those that seek it.
This amazing opportunity reports directly to a high calibre, Big 4 qualified, Finance Director and will see you working collaboratively with the Senior Leadership Team, and also the Plc parent company, therefore offering exposure to both commercial and operational challenges.
This role will become the "right hand" to the Finance Director, who we placed and who has worked his way to the number 1 position in a short period of time. He has a strong focus on supporting ambitious individuals to fast track their careers, meaning the successful individual could become the next Finance Director. You will also have access to the Managing Director who is fully immersed in driving business performance and who operates an open-door policy.
The Finance Manager - Projects role will include a blend of day-to-day, periodic reporting requirements and project work that will add considerable value to the bottom line. The varied and evolving nature of the role reflects the fast pace of the business, which, for example, have included corporate structural changes, acquisitions, a business division sale, and commencement of a new ERP system project.
Finance Manager Projects - Deliverables:
- Leading on the delivery of robust financial accounting, reporting and analysis across the most complex areas of the business. Examples include but not limited to project accounting, variable consideration, lease accounting, provisions for customer claims and accounting for corporate restructure activity such as acquisitions and disposals.
- Taking ownership for the preparation and reporting of key components of the year-end financial statements, budgets, strategic plans and other key annual deliverables.
- Preparing and reporting timely, accurate monthly financial statements with complementary performance analysis which provides real insight.
- Developing and presenting board reports and commercial analysis for the Board of Directors and Plc parent company.
- Identifying and securing process improvement opportunities.
- Acting as a Finance Business Partner to the business divisions, including support for investment decisions and the analysis and identification of cost savings.

Finance Manager Projects - Requirements:
- A fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) with ambition
- Strong academics
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively convey complex financial information to non-finance
- An ability to learn quickly with an inquisitive mindset
- Strong technical accounting and an understanding of IFRS
- Experience of delivering improvements in both financial reporting and analysis
- Highly motivated to succeed and with the ability to work autonomously
Finance Manager Projects - Package:
- £70,000 - £80,000 base salary
