Insole Court is a magnificent Grade II* listed Victorian mansion house and outbuildings set within a Grade II* registered garden in Llandaff, Cardiff. It has undergone extensive refurbishment as part of a major renewal project funded by National Lottery Heritage and Community Funds, Cardiff Council, Cadw and other donors. Insole Court has been transferred from Cardiff Council to the Insole Court Trust as part of the biggest community asset transfer scheme in Wales.
This is an exciting opportunity to join Insole Court at a pivotal time. As Finance Manager you will manage the accounting for both Insole Court Trust and the Insole Court Trading Company, ensuring accurate, prompt and conscientious accounting practices are followed at all times. You will prepare monthly accounts for the whole Charity, including departmental breakdowns.
Working with the CEO, you will create ambitious but achievable financial targets for the site and updating the team on performance. You will monitor reporting systems, preparing accurate financial reports and statements, interpret data, prepare and publish all financial documents, ensuring adherence to industry regulations.
You will develop financial management strategies to reduce financial risk, provide relevant recommendations to the board and assist executives in decision making. Working with operational teams across the site you will help create and implement robust financial procedures that mitigate risk to the organisation.
Salary is dependent on experience and qualifications.
