SCHOOL FINANCE MANAGER
Required May 2024 or as soon as possible
(full time, permanent)
The Cathedral School, Cardiff’s leading independent school for girls and boys, is seeking to appoint an experienced and organised Finance Manager to provide a full range of finance and accounting support to the Bursar from May 2024, or as soon as possible. The successful candidate will be expected to maintain the highest standards of professional expertise and confidentiality. They will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Finance Team, overseeing the team’s workload. A qualification in accountancy/book-keeping (AAT) is essential.
The post is full time, for 37.5 hours per week, 8.00am until 4.00pm, Monday to Friday. The salary for this post will be between £35,000 and £40,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. You will be entitled to take 30 days paid holiday (pro rata) during the school holidays, plus 8 bank holidays.
